Mike Hayward From Copacino Fujikado Has Some Advice For New Ideasicle X Subscribers

I met Copacino Fujikado’s Executive Creative Director, Mike Hayward, in 2015 when I spoke at a MAGNET conference. MAGNET is a global network of 40+ creative agencies around the world. They get together to share best practices, collaborate, and generally help each other. I was invited to share my strategies for winning pitches as well as the Ideasicle concept. Anyway, Mike got a refresher on Ideasicle X last fall and in January subscribed to the platform with a very interesting project with one of his clients.

While he can’t share the client or details about the assignment, Mike was kind enough to share quite a bit about his experience and even provide advice to future Ideasicle X customers. Take it away, Mike.

There’s a lot to like about the Ideasicle model. We got access to freelancers with experience at some of the top agencies in the world and were able to put together a crack team within a couple hours with expertise specific to our project.

The team then generated a wealth of creative ideas in a matter of days. The unique platform, which is very user friendly, allowed me to easily follow along in real-time and provide feedback and direction throughout.

One suggestion to new Ideasicle clients: I kicked off our internal creative team and Ideasicle teams at the same time. In hindsight, I would have kicked off the Ideasicle team first so our agency team would have ideas to build upon earlier with more time to polish them for the client presentation.

Overall, it was a really good experience and we definitely plan to tap Ideasicle X again in the near future.
